About Me.

Wrendly Mesidor was raised in North Miami Beach and grew with knowledge and insight of his city and neighboring cities and towns.  Mesidor is an elementary school teacher, community advocate, and public servant committed to putting students and families first. Through his work in education and community service, he has dedicated himself to expanding opportunities for children, supporting children, supporting teachers, and ensuring every student has access to high-quality education. Mesidor has served on the North Miami Beach Redevelopment Advisory Board on the North Miami Beach Multicultural Committee, demonstrating his commitment to civic engagement and his community leadership.

He previously ran for local office and now seeks to bring his experience as an educator and community advocate to the Miami-Dade County School Board. Mesidor believes parents, teachers, students, and community members should all have a voice in shaping the future of public education. He is committed to improving academic achievement supporting and retaining quality teachers, strengthening school safety, expanding opportunities for students, and promoting transparency and accountability throughout the district. He is very committed to moving our community forward and building a stronger future for every child in Miami Dade County.

2019

  • Associate of Arts in Business Administration (A.A)  Broward College

My Time At College...

During my time at Broward College and Florida International University, I earned an Associate of Arts in Business, a bachelor's degree in organizational communication, and a master's degree in mass communication. At FIU, I served as the university's first Student Government Lieutenant Governor, earned Dean's List honors, and received the prestigious Global Learning Medallion in 2022 for leadership and global engagement. I also served in leadership roles within the Student Programming Council. Beyond college, I founded my own consulting company, became an elementary school teacher, served in leadership positions in North Miami Beach, was recognized as one of Haiti's Open Top 100 Hot Young Haitian Professionals in 2024, and will be receiving a proclamation from the City of North Miami Beach in July 2026 for my service to the community.
